Learn Leadership Through Community Service
The United States Junior Chamber (Jaycees) gives young people between the ages of 18 and 41 the tools they need to build the bridges of success for themselves in the areas of business development, management skills, individual training, community service, and international connections.
The U.S. Junior Chamber and the Hilo Jaycees are non-profit corporation/organizations as described under IRS code 501.
With the focus of the nation on volunteerism, from the smallest towns to the largest cities, the great Hilo Jaycees are enlarging areas of opportunity for young people.
The Benefits of Membership
• INDIVIDUAL DEVELOPMENT • COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT • MANAGEMENT DEVELOPMENT • INTERNATIONAL DEVELOPMENT • BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
The Hilo Jaycees are a diverse group of young adults with wide ranging backgrounds. We are students, parents, business owners and para pofessionals who are committed to serving the Big Island well through the individual development of our membership and community outreach.
Proudly, we plan, host and co-sponsor community projects such as The Biggest Easter Egg Hunt Ever and Annual Hawaii County Fair which have become local family tradition to attend. Through the years we have united families and friends through fun activities, games, entertainment and education.
The smile we can put on the face of a child is one of our greatest achievements. We invite you to join an exceptional group of young people who work together for the betterment of our community!
In service to others we help ourselves grow.
